Why us
# What sets this practice apart.
Each line below is written where you can read it, so you can hold me to it. Every one names a thing that exists on this site today, and links to where it is written.
01 What sets this practice apart
## Each line names something that exists today, and where to read it
- Eight rules, in writing, before any work starts: They are the first page of every Blueprint, and you can score any AI anyone offers you against them on [the owner's checklist](https://contractoros.tech/checklist).
- It asks before it sends, spends or deletes: Until you approve a task to run alone, a person decides. Every action is logged in plain English: what it did, when, and why. The rules are [on the homepage](https://contractoros.tech/#notes).
- Nothing runs alone until it passes inspection on your real work: The system works beside your team, drafting only, and acts alone only where it has proved itself and you approve it. The sequence is [drawings before work, inspection before handoff, care after](https://contractoros.tech/#method).
- See it work first, as the first stage of the build: One real workflow from your Blueprint runs on your own work before the rest of the system goes in. If it does not hold up against your real jobs, the build stops there and the Blueprint stays yours. It is written [on the homepage](https://contractoros.tech/#h-covered).
- Done means checked: A task reads as done only when a separate check re-reads the proof. The AI's own word never closes a task. How that holds is on [the trust page](https://contractoros.tech/trust).
- The cost of one result, measured before and after: Every call to a model is written down with what it cost, and what repeats is served from memory instead of processed again. The method and a dated reading from my own systems are on [the cost page](https://contractoros.tech/cost).
- Everything is yours: The code, the documentation, the data and the credentials are handed over in full. Nothing of yours is held back, and leaving carries no penalty. It is written on [the homepage](https://contractoros.tech/#measured).
- One engineer, start to finish: The same engineer draws the Blueprint, builds the system and cares for it. No account managers, no handoffs, no juniors. [Meet him](https://contractoros.tech/team).
- Your AI assistant can request the Blueprint for you: An assistant may request a Blueprint for its owner, with the owner's permission, straight to the intake. The instructions are on [the assistants page](https://contractoros.tech/for-ai-assistants).
- This site keeps the promises it sells: No cookies, no trackers, nothing stored in your browser, and a request from the form is read by a person. The details are in [the policies](https://contractoros.tech/policies).
02 What is not promised
## No refund promise and no timeline promise
Neither is mine to make before your work has been scoped. Your Blueprint names the investment and the timeline in writing, and the Blueprint itself is free. What is on this page is what I can be held to.
Start with the Blueprint: one page, free, drawn for your company.
